A stay at The Pala Pandawa is incomplete without a meaningful culinary experience. Our skilled chefs craft unforgettable dishes, and our talented bartenders mix captivating cocktails, all using the freshest ingredients.
Our manager sources top-quality produce by frequently visiting the Jimbaran fish market, working with reputable meat suppliers, and scouts seasonal fruits and vegetables locally. Whenever possible, we use rice grown in our own fields at The Pala Ubud (see our other villa writing).
Our kitchen team regularly prepares BBQ dinners, welcoming party receptions, post-wedding “recovery” parties, and caters for smaller weddings. For larger weddings, please refer to our “Wedding and Event” section.
Occasionally, our chef revives long-lost recipes from our founders’ fourth-generation family recipe book, offering unique Indonesian-Dutch-Chinese dishes that are no longer available in restaurants. Our goal is to satisfy cravings for “comfort food” while exploring Balinese, Indonesian, Asian, and Western cuisines.
